Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal university was established as a state university via U.P. state government notification no. (10)/(865)/15/(75)(85)/64 dated 23 November 1973. The university has been upgraded to central university through an Act of Parliament i.e. The Central Universities Act 2009. The university, as a result has been entrusted with new obligations to guide its students, faculty and all other stakeholders to reap excellence in academics and try for all round improvement of college students. Considering its inception, the college has shown dedication in the direction of nearby and community improvement. The university, nestled in the lap of Himalayan ranges in the Garhwal vicinity of Uttarakhand, is a residential cum affiliating institution of higher learning. The university has control over seven districts of Garhwal region of Uttarakhand.
Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun was set up on 27th January 2005 by means of government of Uttarakhand via the Uttarakhand Technical University Act 2005. The college has been set up in a place of 8.372 hectares and it is far the most effective affiliating university of the country for technical courses or institutes. There are 8 Constituent and 132 affiliated colleges with 33,000 college students in diverse programs. The university imparts education in Graduate, post Graduate and Doctorate programmes in numerous disciplines. Aside from this university is having 8 Constituent colleges. Spreading Technical training within the faraway underprivileged region of Uttarakhand hills.
The Bar Council of India is a statutory body that regulates the legal practice and legal education in India. It was created through Parliament under the Advocates Act, 1961. It prescribes requirements of professional conduct, etiquettes and exercises disciplinary jurisdiction over the bar. It additionally sets standards for legal training and offers recognition to Universities whose degree in law will serve as a qualification for college students to sign up themselves as advocates upon commencement. Further, they carry out certain representative functions by protecting the rights, privileges and interests of advocates and via the introduction of funds for providing economic assistance to organize welfare schemes for them.
